My Story

Owner/ Master Stylist & Barber Alyse Harris has been a licensed cosmetologist for 12 years. Growing up in a small farm town in Iowa, Alyse had always dreamt of being a hairdresser in California, from the young age of 3. After graduating from the Aveda Institute in Minneapolis, from Cosmetology, Esthiology, and Massage Therapy, she started her hairdressing carrier  in Minnesota before packing everything she owned to live out her dreams  in sunny California.

Dedicated to her craft and her ever growing client base, Alyse is always seeking to  grow in the ever changing industry, and also recently got her barbering license, as she has specialized in men's haircare and grooming for the past 8 years.  She regularly attends Advanced Cosmetology Training and Beauty Trade Shows to keep up with the latest tecnhiques and trends.

In 2017, Alyse did what many stylists dream to do.  She opened her own establishment called Weapon Of Choice, a Premier Mens Grooming Studio.  Aware of the impact  that local barber shops have on their communities, she strives to keep a positive and respectful atmosphere where all feel welcome.  Come in today and get the look you want, in the environment you deserve!
